My journey into the world of Information Technology began with an early fascination inspired by my brother’s passion for computers. Growing up, I was captivated by watching him play games like Doom and Duke Nukem on his Pentium 1. These formative experiences, surrounded by floppy disks and bulky monitors, sparked my enduring interest in technology.
In 2020, I took my first significant step into the IT world with building my own PC that solidified my passion for IT. After nearly 12 hours of assembly, I felt an extraordinary sense of achievement when my custom-built system powered on seamlessly. This experience marked the beginning of my hands-on engagement with technology, from configuring settings to enhance my gaming experience to managing various hardware components. This project featured components like a Prime Z490-A motherboard, Intel i9-10850K processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, and a Lian Li O11D XL-W tempered glass ATX tower case.
Despite a successful career in retail management, my enthusiasm for IT persisted. Balancing managerial responsibilities left little time for formal education in IT, but by mid-2022, I made a decisive commitment to pursue a career in this field. I resigned from my position as an assistant manager in December 2023 to fully dedicate myself to gaining experience and certifications in IT.
